i’ve always loved all things beauty from my first candy lipstick as a young thing. it’s no wonder i soon became the resident hair/makeup artist amongst my friends (and barbie dolls!) did a brief stint at glamour shots (horrifying, i know), worked in the beauty department at dillard’s department store and managed and did PR for salons and beauty products.
the beauty bug runs just as strongly through my veins as ever, and i consider it just another way to create. i’ve done a few cool projects in LA, but this by far is my favorite. see the first in a march series of style posts created for designlovefest with what i like to call the dreamteam: max wanger (photography) bri of designlovefest (art direction and model) jen gotch (art direction and prop styling) and jen pinkston (wardrobe styling.) i’m pretty excited about the legit hair + makeup credit, i must say! click through the pics to see the rest!
